LOOK! A fanfic that isn't Okage. I know I have THE QUEST but I may or may not find an excuse to get Okage in there. SO…This fanfic is, as you know, a Phantom of the Opera. I feel really alone in this world. My sister and I seem to be the only ones who think Madam Giry loves the phantom. And my sister only thinks that because I pointed it out. This fanfic is my thoughts about the phantom and Giry. And next time you watch the movie think about this. Watch madam Giry, her actions give it away. Oh, and why did the phantom tell Christine and Raoul to 'leave before they find you?' They weren't the ones the angry mob wanted.
I don't know if this is any good. Or how it would have worked out if it actually happened but i've got my idea out there. If it's that bad let me know so i can delete. Thanks. Please PLEASE review.

The phantom stood. Watching as Raoul and Christine left. They looked so happy together. The Phantom felt a surge of pain and longing for that type of relationship. Perhaps Christine wasn't the one he wanted. Deep inside he felt a compassion for another. Not that of a lover, but that of a friend or brother. The same little girl that had helped him escape the circus so many years ago was now as old as himself and lonely. Why? Why had he never noticed?
The phantom glanced behind himself. The sound of the mob grew closer with each passing moment. In his own rage and confusion, the phantom picked up a nearby candlestick. He looked for a second at his reflection in the mirror.
Is this really me?, he thought woefully. And with one fluid movement he shattered the image. Again and again he hit the mirror. And then the next one. It's small shiny fragments fell to his feet with a bell like tinkle. There behind the mirror was a long pathway. His one escape rout. After taking one sorrowful glance to the tunnel where Christine had disappeared, the phantom shrouded himself once again in the darkness.
The mob arrived at last to the phantoms lair. Both amazed and bewildered by what they found they gave up their search. Meg picked up the white half mask of the phantom. Her mother, Madam Giry, looked at the mask with much longing. She had brought the phantom here so long ago and yet it seemed like yesterday.
After about an hour the mob left and would never hear of the phantom again. All except one. Madam Giry stayed behind. She didn't really know why other than she loved the phantom. He had chosen young innocent Christine over an old woman not but one year younger than himself. How had he managed to stay so young when Madam Giry looked old enough to be his mother? She sighed and was about to leave when she heard a voice from behind her.
"Don't leave." it sounded sorrowful and yet hopeful. Madam Giry turned to face the dark-haired and caped figure of the phantom. His face was once again hidden by a white mask.
"I never wanted to leave." she replied.
"Then don't. You and I. Together." The phantom now held Madam Giry in his arms. "I love you. I think I always have but was to blind to see it."
"I have always loved you. Even after Meg was born. Why do you think I have been so sullen?"
"That can all change."
The phantom and Madam Giry kissed. It was the best feeling in the world for the phantom to finally feel loved. Truly, and not for the sake of another person.
""Won't you share with me one love one lifetime. Lead me save me from my solitude. Any where you go let me go too. Madam, that's all I ask…of…you……""
