Author's Note: This is a very short, very sweet (well not really unless you happen to have some sugar on hand) little fic I wrote when I was still obsessed with the Georgia Nicolson series. I'd read all of them in a row and it made me laugh very much, which inspired me to look at life with more humour than I usually do. That was over a year ago. I'm still into the series, but I will have to reread it to familiarize myself with the language and characters, which I plan to do SOON!!! So in the meantime, enjoy this one chapter and watch out for the few more which might quite possibly come after.

Lonely, upset and slightly demented
When I woke up this morning I looked up in the mirror and screamed. What I saw was not me but rather an incredibly fish-like version of me -- Libbs had done my hair and make-up whilst I was sleeping. It looked horrendous. "MUM!!!!!" I yelled. I could hear laughter and music from downstairs (probably my very bald uncle Eddie had come round again for another one of their salsa-dancing sessions. Erlack.) Anyway, where was I before I so rudely interrupted myself? Oh yes, well then here I was upstairs with my hair standing on end, lipstick smeared over various parts of my face and half an eyebrow missing, and Mum was downstairs dancing with Uncle Eddie. I looked like a transvestite from Planet X. Did she not care about her only sane daughter???
"MUM!!" I yelled again and this time she came upstairs with Uncle Eddie in tow. "Yes darling?" she said whilst I gaped behind her at my uncle. He really did look like a boiled egg, especially now that he was sweating profusely. After being momentarily blinded, I said "Look what Libby did to me!" Mum blinked and Uncle Eddie snorted (Honestly! what kind of egg snorts?) "Gee, she is only five." She can be vair annoying sometimes. So I said with dignosity, "Don't you care about ME?"
