It was a typical day at Hogwarts, kids running around, owls delivering mail, and Ron stuffing his face with all the food he possibly could. It was lunch and Ginny, Hermione and Harry were staring at Ron and laughing. He was shoving food in his mouth so fast that he started choking before finally swallowing what was in his mouth. He was oblivious to anything except the food, so he kept shoveling.
"Harry!" Hermione whispered.
"Yea?" Harry looks at her.
"Why don't we mess with Ron?" Hermione says as she smirks.
"By doing what exactly?" Harry asks.
"By putting a sticking charm on dessert." Hermione says as the dessert appeared.
"You should do it; you're the best at charms." Harry suggested.
"Okay." She whispers as Ron takes a huge helping of date pudding.
She motions with her wand under the table right before Ron started shoveling the pudding in his mouth. Ron swallows the pudding and as he goes to put another scoop in his mouth he tries to open his mouth to no avail. Hermione, Ginny and Harry were all sniggering as Ron tries to open his mouth. You can see his tongue working to lick whatever stuck his mouth together off. He looks like a dog that just had some peanut butter and can't get it out of his mouth.
"Ron? Are you okay?" Hermione asks, trying to keep from bursting with laughter.
"Mui mounhth mius stuu!" Ron tries talking.
"I'm sorry, what was that?" Hermione asks, now openly laughing.
Ron tries to say something again, but it just comes out as grunts. He grabs his bag and leaves the Great Hall. Hermione, Ginny and Harry follow him. He ends up at the Hospital Wing and gets Madam Pompfrey's attention. She asks him what's wrong and Hermione lifts the charm. He starts talking before looking confused. He says something to Madam Pompfrey before leaving. Hermione, Harry and Ginny hide and then head back to the common room.

It was after all their classes had finished for the day and the four of them were sitting in the common room around the fire.
"So, Ron, what was up with you earlier?" Hermione asks with a grin.
"My mouth got stuck closed, so I went to Madam Pompfrey to try to explain to her and I could talk again. I think the date pudding was really sticky today." Ron explains with a look of concentration on his face.
"Oh, so you're fine now?" Hermione asks him.
"Yea, I really think it was the pudding." Ron says.
Hermione, Harry and Ginny burst out into laughter much to Ron's confusion. They laughed until they couldn't breathe anymore and then looked at Ron who was trying to figure out what he had missed before they laughed again.
