Every time Nate's lips meet Vanessa's he feels some sort of salvation. Everything that has ever been destroyed in his life seems fresh, renewed. It's an amazing feeling that he can't explain.
Even more than that, he tastes the incredible flavor of strawberry kiwi.
Now, there's no denying that he's kissed many girls in his life. But when his arms envelope Vanessa and he tastes the sweet fruit flavor, she seems so different from any other girl. He knows she's different.
The fruit taste is just a plus. The girl is just like a tropical forest, from her tangerine-scented hair, her strawberry-kiwi flavored lips, and her tangy grape perfume. He wants to feel every curve of her, every inch of her, just to discover all of the scents she has hidden.
He loves her, he knows that. He loves her many scents, he knows that. But Vanessa is a mystery, shrouded in the scent of sweet fruit. Sooner or later, he'll figure her out.
Until then, he'll kiss her into eternity, taking in the taste of strawberry kiwi lip gloss.
