SING WHEN YOU'RE WINNING

Observing Rico's progress on the firing range through binoculars from an overlooking balcony one morning, Jean snorted with annoyance as his ears discerned the sound of cheery singing punctuating the metallic chatter of his fratello's weapon.

"Why are you belting out songs from Mary Poppins?" he demanded, striding out onto the field.

Rico lowered her Beretta SC70 and blinked, wide-eyed. "Why aren't you belting out songs from Mary Poppins?"

Silence reigned for several moments as mentor and protégée stood facing one another amid a throng of well-ventilated International Rifle Target Silhouettes.

Before long, a passing Chief Lorenzo stopped dead in his tracks, watching and listening in sheer astonishment as his second-in-command and the man's diminutive blond cyborg skilfully made their way through the close-quarters battle training course, happily trilling the lyrics to 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious' as they methodically cleared room after room...
