Now Presenting: Big Merb: A Stork Fanfiction.
It was a rare time for Stork to leave the sanctuary of his dearest Condor to venture the streets of such a large Terra, but he was on a mission. Visiting Axee excited him, and the fact that her merbling Raven was doing so well at his young age made Stork happy too. Glancing down at the messy handwriting
on the paper he could barely make out the address written there. Either she was excited about the fact that he was visiting or she just had really bad handwriting.
Phoenix Exades was scattered with condos and large apartments. Stork stopped in front of a large building with a gaudy neon sign. Cozy Dozing Apartments the sign read in large blue letters. Stork glanced down at the address again: 67 Azeul Rd. , Cozy Dozing Apartments, Rm. Number 8.
"Stork!" someone called from above. Stork shielded his eyes and glanced up. Another merb, dark purple with a long lavender braid waved frantically from the second floor. "Come on up!" Axee called. Stork made his way up the stairs. Axee raced forward and embraced the green merb. "I'm so glad your here, come on!" With out giving Stork a chance to argue, she raced with him back to her apartment.
A jet black merbling sat upright on a overstuffed sofa in the middle of the room, his eyes focused on a small color tv connected to the wall. In his thin little arms he clutched a yellow doll in the shape of a very fuzzy yellow merb. He looked up when his mother waltzed in, arm in arm with a strange green fellow.
"Big merb!" he cried.
Axee grinned and scooped the merbling off the couch. "No silly, this is your Uncle Stork!" she said with a smile. Raven stared at Stork with lilac rimmed eyes. "Big merb?" he said again, softer. Axee ruffled his fluffy ebony hair. "Hes obsessed with a large yellow merb who comes on tv every Saturday and calls himself 'big merb'" she told Stork. "From Sesasmos Street?" Stork asked. Axee raised an eyebrow at him and nodded. "Thats right...how did you know?" she asked. Stork blushed and looked at the floor. "Its ah...an innocent show." he muttered.
