They flit and float and fly,
Those fireflies in the sky.

"What are you doing?"

I twirl and dance with them,
As they soar around my head.

"Demyx, it's late."

Grab a jar and catch a few,
So that I can share them with you.

"I couldn't fall asleep."

I smile sadly as they fly away,
Then go back to end the day.

"Come on, let's get back to the castle."

We walk a while and go inside,
I never even break my stride.

"I thought we could set them free together."

You look at me and I contemplate
What
you were doing up so late.

"Just us, or should we drag Roxas into this?"

I laugh and forget my unspoken question
When the last member of our trio is mentioned.

"Definitely bring Roxas, I hate his lone overnighters."
