"Well lover, you look...different."

The person standing before me, if you can call him a person at all, was so very far away from the man I had come to care for.

(flinging those shiny swords this way and that)

"E-Elle?"

Gray fingers gripped mine before I could pull away this strange new thing, that once held Wade's smirking face, pulled me into his arms.

"My god, Wade, what the hell did they do to you?"

Tears burned my eyes as I ran my finger tips over all of the scars they had given him, while searching for something familiar in his deformed features.

"I don't know, but I just had to find you."

Which is why my very own Frankenstein had ripped open every door until he finally found mine.

(those familiar blades now inching out of his skin)

"Well you found me before I started to look for you (and give lots of burns along the way), fate is a fickle thing but sometimes only sometimes it get things right."

With that he kissed me, and it felt like the first time rather then the thousandth (he was always one hell of a kisser), with those lips that were still getting used to words and the feel of my lips on his.

"We better get moving before those sons of a bitches come looking for you."

His hands held on to mine tighter then they ever have, even when the world was crashing all around us, afraid to death that if he let me go I would run away from this monster before me.

(the only thing I saw were those eyes of his, pleading for my love)

"Forever, I've had my share of monsters, Wade, but you're the first that I've ever wanted to stay with rather then run from. So don't worry, baby, I'm not going anywhere."
