I'm sure you've all heard of The Thunderbirds and their life threatening encounter with the Hood. But what happened after the film, and how does the Tracy line survive? Do the five Tracy sons have a life other than International Rescue?

Before I start a quick reminder for you about The Thunderbirds…

When billionaire ex-astronaut Jeff Tracy's wife sadly died in an avalanche, he took his five sons, Scott, John, Virgil, Gordon and Alan to live on an island in the South Pacific. There he started to build the Thunderbirds and the headquarters of International Rescue with the help of Brains, an award winning scientist. Know he runs International Rescue along with his five sons, and with their incredible machines, Thunderbirds 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 the world is a safer place.

It's the year 2010, and after The Thunderbirds battle with the Hood, Tracy Island is back to normal. Gordon, the second youngest of the Tracy sons at 18 has decided to take time off from International Rescue to continue his swimming ambitions.

Whilst in America training for the 2012 Olympics, Gordon falls in love with a beautiful seventeen year old British girl named Sophie. She has a perfectly straightened blonde bob that curves her round face and baby nose and light blue eyes. She is athletic looking and enjoys sport but her main love is medicine. The daughter of a senior nurse and doctor, she has had a lot of home training and is already at second year medical school level.

Now Gordon is returning home to Tracy Island for a break from training and he faces the difficult task of persuading his father to let Sophie into the heroic world of The Thunderbirds.

"Scott, John, Virgil, Alan get down here now! You're brother is going to be home any second now!" shouted Jeff. This was the third time he had asked them and he was starting to get annoyed. "Come on, come on" he said as his four sons sleepily made their way down the stairs. Unfortunately it was 9 o'clock in the morning, an early start for a Saturday. Jeff desperately wanted to send them back upstairs to get dressed but it was too late. The sound of Lady Penelope's Fab 1 told the Tracy family that Gordon was back.

As soon as Gordon came into view, before he could greet his father, he was throne face first into the pool by his brothers and after ten minutes of mucking around, Gordon climbed out of the pool dripping wet to finally greet his father.

As Gordon walked towards his father, leaving a line of water behind him he said "Hi dad. How you bin?"

"Good, how about you? How's the training going?"

"It's going ok… um whilst were on the subject of training, I've got something I want to talk to you about"

By now Gordon had reached his father and with his fathers' arm around him, they started walking inside. "Ok" Jeff reluctantly said. He didn't quiet no what to make of his sons' words. But he was going to listen.

As they reached the sofa, TinTin, the daughter of the housekeeper, gave Gordon a towel. "Thanks" he said, then he started to dry himself off.
