"I Marion Alice McCaig, take thee Michael John Oliver Banner to be my lawful wedded – " Marion awoke with a start. She sat up, breathing quickly, her head spinning. She took a couple of deep breaths and put her head against the wall behind her, putting her shaking hands to her face. She had to stop having these dreams. She had to speak to Mike.

That morning at breakfast Marion sat nibbling a piece of toast, not really hungry. Mike sat opposite her, sipping at his tea. He looked across to her with worried eyes.
"Are you OK?" He asked
"No..no..I'm fine," she paused, "It's just..I had a dream last night..the wedding..you're not having second thoughts are you, about –" He cut her off.
"Marion, I love you. I can't imagine anyone else I'd rather –" It was her turn to cut him off.
"Not about the wedding – about not telling anyone!"
"I'm fine about it, Marion! Relax! – In fact I think it was a good idea. Look..no-one at work even knows that we sleep together, or live together, never mind that we're engaged. Like you said, I don't want to turn into Jill and Gordon – everyone treats them differently, like they've never seen a couple before, all asking personal stuff about Jonathan and what colour carpets they're getting and how their holidays were...I don't want it to be like that with us." Marion smiled
"All I needed was 'I'm fine with it', but I'm glad you feel the same." She glanced down at her watch. "My God! Is that the time! I was meant to be at the wedding shop 5 minutes ago! This wedding is making me loose track of time!" She leant over the table and kissed Mike, before grabbing her bag, coat and toast and rushing out of the door, leaving Mike smiling at the table.
