AN: I just want to apologize to you guys that started following me way back when, I know I don't put out anything substantial anymore, just a whole lot of drabbles that are barely even slash, but I've been trying to do some super long stuff, and I don't want to publish any of it until I have it all done, because I wouldn't want people to read it, love it, and then hate me because I failed to finish it. Wow, that was just one sentence, hooray for run-ons. Anyway, not sure where this came from, but I sort of consider it Wincest pre-slash, but can be read as just brotherly thing. Takes place whenever.
Dean smiled at the pretty redhead, somehow keeping it just that, a smile instead of a smirk of satisfaction. He knew he was taking her back to the motel tonight.
"I'm sorry, I don't think you actually told me your name," he said. Names weren't really important to him, but he liked the have something to call out when he came.
The redhead smiled. "Jessica. But you can call me Jess."
Dean's smile vanished. Instinctively he looked across the bar at Sam, sitting in the corner with his laptop, nursing a beer. He turned his gaze back to Jess. She didn't even look remotely like Sam's Jess, but a tiny voice in the back of his head was screaming "Wrong, wrong, wrong!"
He forced the smile back on his face. "Well Jess, it was nice to meet you, but I gotta get back to my geeky brother over there, it's probably past his bedtime," he said as he stood.
Jess looked crestfallen but she too forced a smile and headed back to her group of friends as Dean made his way back to Sam.
"What happened? That chick was all over you," Sam said as Dean dropped into the empty chair across from him.
Dean sipped his beer and shrugged. "Not every night's a win, Sammy."
