Hey guys I hop e you like my story. Its my first so, enjoy!
A stone was in Sadie's path and she kicked it out of her way with one swift movement of her foot. She couldn't take her father's crap anymore and she finally hit her breaking point. She just walked out and she never looked back. She didn't plan on going back. She knew a place where she could go.
She walked up the steps to a small house on the corner of the street. She went up the steps two at a time. She flung the door open and yelled up the steps.
"Lexi!" she yelled.
"Sadie?" another voice responded.
"Yeah!" she answered.
"Come on up!" she heard.
She walked up the steps two at a time again and turned to the first door and looked inside. A boy around her age sat on his bed tuning a guitar.
"Hey, Trey," she said poking her head in the door.
"Sup, Sadie," he said without looking up.
She continued her journey down the hall and came into the door at the end of the hall. She saw her friend sitting on her bed looking at her clothes she had spread out over the pink bedspread.
"What are you doing?" she asked.
"Deciding," Lexi answered.
" I would go with the sparkly purple shirt and black skirt," Sadie answered simply looking at the pictures on Lexi's wall.
"Good idea," she answered picking up the outfit and running into the bathroom to change.
Sadie sighed and continued to look around her friend's room. Just as she was finishing her survey her friend came running back in all dressed up.
"So…" Lexi asked expectantly.
"Nice," Sadie answered looking her up and down.
"Thanks," she said," and might I say you look nice yourself.
Sadie wasn't wearing anything that nice except her shirt was a black tank top and her jeans were faded. She had known Lexi all her life and she knew Lexi never would utter a foul word or say anything negative about another person.
"Yeah, Yeah, let's get going," Sadie said grabbing her friend by the arm and dragging her out the door. They passed Trey's room.
"See ya, Trey!" Sadie called.
"She heard a chord of the guitar and accepted that as a bye. They ran out the door and onto the sidewalk. Sadie smiled at her friend as they walked slowly down the street. She could remember doing everything with Lexi, from riding a bike to playing dress-up. She loved Lexi like the sister she never had. She would do anything for her, and that meant risking her own safety. They had made a pact when they were seven that no matter what they had each other. It wasn't one of those stupid little kid things either, this one was signed in blood. They each pricked a finger and put a thumb print on the piece of paper. She knew it was genuine.
They stopped by Sadie's boyfriend's house to see what he was up to. And then they were off to see a movie.
Who's the boyfriend! I know you're all wondering! Just kidding Please R&R!
