HOW IT REALLY HAPPENED?
Just to be clear in do not love Galbatorix, but I don't totally hate him either. I don't really know what I think about him. I don't many people who love Galbatorix but I'm pretty sure some people do, but read it anyways. And review!
So what if it wasn't just about his dragon, what if there was love somewhere in between, what if it was love that drove him crazy and enough to kill the entire race of dragon riders. (There's an original character in this people! For those who totally hate OC's)
Here goes;
Her hair caught the sunlight and sparkled. It was a bright shade of red. Her eyes slanted elven. Her ears pointed, she was an elf. Beautiful and graceful, she was the woman of Galbatorixs dreams, the woman he loved. Grace.
She ran around in the lush field of daffodils, laughing. Galbatorixs lips curved in a smile as her watched her perched on a treetop.
"Grace!" he called out
"Gall!" she replied to his call
His dragon came by a sat in the field crushing flowers under its bulky weight. The day passed on like any normal day for him, he watched her, and he talked with his dragon about how much he loved her and he whispered to her he loved her. And then they were down together in the fields spread out on a patch of green grass.
Galbatorix went away to hunt for supper. Two riders approached Grace. They were young and drunk with power; unable to control it they fired magic at her. Grace was a weak elf, never having been train in the art of combat. She was young as well. It hit her. The riders having enjoyed the first hit picked up their swords and slashed at her. Instantly she started bleeding.
While these two attacked Grace, their Green and Navy Blue dragons attacked Galbatorix's dragon. It was a tow on one. Galbatorix's dragon was young too, it was inevitable defeat. The dragon lay there bleeding.
It was two riders the dragon told him.
Galbatorix had felt it get hurt. He had felt the pain too, he had tried to get there as soon as possible but on his way he felt it take it's last few gasps of breath and then no more was it. Drunk with rage and his thirst for revenge he sped up his pace.
When he got there all he found was a dead dragon and Grace. Bleeding and hurt, he tried healing here but she was on the very verge of death. So far he could not bring her back. She died in his arms gasping for air that couldn't reach her lungs. And then she went cold and limp, the light in her eyes vanished. She was dead.
Galbatorix howled in pain and agony. He had lost his dragon and his love all in one day and it was riders that had killed them both. He was going to have his revenge. And he was going to see it through.
So what do you think? It wasn't as good as it felt in my head but it isn't bad either, pretty short actually. R&R!
