A/N: If this isn't on the Sherlock season 3 DVDs, let's have a riot. Martin, Benedict, please help us out.
Special Feature
John opens his laptop, glances at the webcam, then looks up and offscreen. "You're sure we can do this?" he mutters to someone, and then laughs. "All right then, it's going to happen." He looks back down at the webcam, smiling. "Er, hello, fangirls and fanboys, er, I'm Martin Freeman, still on set here, as John Watson—"
"Obviously," interrupts Sherlock, sticking his head into the shot and making a ridiculous face.
John turns the laptop so we can see Sherlock in his PJs and blue dressing gown, sitting on the couch. He's smiling, just the tiniest bit out of character. "And there's Benedict, of course, always trying to be the center of attention."
Sherlock snickers. John turns the laptop again to scan the room. "And here is our wonderful flat, which I know we are really going to miss filming in." The camera shakes a little as John pulls over an end table and sets the laptop on top of it, adjusting it so the camera has a good view of the couch. He sits next to Sherlock and leans close to the camera. "Now, before we wrap things up, there is just one more thing that we really wanted to do, as actors." He sits back and turns to Sherlock, who presses his hands together and looks up at the ceiling.
"Oh, my god. Arthur Conan Doyle, please do not hate us," he says.
"So, we got this idea, ehm," John struggles to keep a serious face, "because we know everybody really wanted to see it, and, so, I guess we'll get on with it. All right?" He looks over at Sherlock, and starts to lean in, but then they make eye contact and Benedict's got too big a smile his face—they burst into giggles and look away from each other.
But then in a split second Sherlock's back in character. "Come on then," he drawls, and John leans in and kisses his mouth. Sherlock's sitting there perfectly still, eyes closed, and after about two seconds John reaches up and holds Sherlock's face with both hands, really kissing him. Sherlock wraps his arms around him, and then sort of pushes him back, leaning down as if he were going to try and scoop his arm under John's legs to pick him up and carry him off.
But John scoots away, evading him, and breaks the kiss long enough to say "No you don't," Then he leans back in, finds Sherlock's mouth again, and presses Sherlock backwards until he's on his back on the couch. After two more seconds, Sherlock's hugging him again, and John's climbing on top of him, which is really too much—so Benedict shakes his head free of the kiss, giggling.
Martin's giggling again too, and reaches over to the laptop, preparing to close the screen. "And that's all you're gonna get," he says to the camera. "Because I'm still not really gay."
Benedict's laughing in the background as Martin closes the screen.
The End.
