She sat beside the dead woman's bed, clutching the cold, pale hand in hers, willing the woman to wake up, but she knew she wouldn't. Tears fell down the young girl's face, leaving streaks down her pale cheeks.
The pain was quickly being replaced by anger. How dare he, she thought, how dare he leave them to let them die in a charity ward. It took more than a woman to make a child.
She stalked to the window and thought about her deadbeat father. How he had told her mother how much he loved her, but then turning away at the thought of a child, that wouldn't be pure. It was obvious to her that it would be her destiny to be alone with a kid, whose father was a deadbeat.
She sensed him before he even spoke. Her waist length corn silk hair whirled around her as he continued the approach.
"Miss Black. My name is Albus Dumbledore. I'm the headmaster of Hogwarts. You have of course heard of the school," The old man said.
"Go away. It was one from your world that did this to her. I don't need you at all."
"Miss Black, Sirius is dead. You of course knew that but as of right now there is no one to protect you. I want you to come to Hogwarts. You will be safe there. That I can promise you."
A/N: Short I know but I just want to see what people think of it. Please review. No flames.
