Nights before the invasion, King Abdulla freaked out about the future of his nation. He agreed to participate in the invasion of the Fire Nation by sending his army, but one question disturbed him. What if we lost and the Fire Nation retaliate? He met Ozai before, and knew he was not a forgiving person. King Abdulla walked to the balcony and looked at his city. Centuries of peace made his people happy and rich, but he will change all that. He shook his head and went back inside.

He sat on his bed wondering if he made the right choice or not. Suddenly, the fog crept into his luxurious room.

"Who is there?" asked King Abdulla, while seeing a figure in the fog.

"King Abdulla, Ruler of Kari Island! Do not fear! I am Avatar Roku," said Roku.

King Abdulla bowed down to the great Avatar and said, "Avatar Roku? How can this be? I thought you only meet with the Avatar. I do not deserve being in your presence."

"King Abdulla, I came here for you. You are a good and righteous king. You made the right decision in aiding Avatar Aang. Your people might not be benders, but it is the time where benders and non-benders unite and have a good relationship. Your nation will be the Keepers of Peace in the future."

"Is that really true?" asked King Abdulla hesitantly."

"Yes," Roku answered confidently. "For your decision, you have brought great prosperity to your people."

King Abdulla still faced the floor, for he dare not look at the Avatar. Roku silently left and the mist was gone.

In the morning, servants helped King Abdulla put on his shiny, bright armor, made out of gold. He climbed onto his horse and rode down the great street of his city. He rode to the harbor, where his fine troops waited for him. He stepped onto his capital ship, the Superior, and told the captain to wait. He looked back to his city, and a tear rolled down his face. He wiped it away, and turned back to the sea. He pulled out his sword and yelled, "Charge! Onward to victory for the Avatar is on our side!"

This is a story to thank my teacher, Mr. Abdulla. He helped me go through school without any difficulty. Thanks for all the support. Enjoy!
