Disclamier: I own nothing, not Naruto not anything. No matter how much I wish this weren't true
One-shot poem, Naruto post Valley of the End
From what I know of isolation,
And the darkness inside someone.
I could no more leave one to it,
Than I could kill my heart.
From what I know of loneliness,
And pretty broken mirrors.
It is a sort of brotherhood,
Forged of pain and sad refrain.
From what I know of bitter truths,
And the sweetness of some lies.
It's easier to run away,
Than face your sour fears.
From what I know of friendship,
And the possibility of hurt.
I know why you shy away,
From the proffered hand.
From what I know of loss,
And bittersweet regret.
The agony inside your eyes,
Is something you cannot hide.
From what I know of life,
And the potential for good.
There is no such thing,
As the ever worshipped 'revenge'.
From what I know of choice,
And binding words of promise.
Bonds cannot be broken,
Not in the way you speak of.
And from what I know of love,
And of cherished lovers.
My heart shall always be with you,
Because you are my precious person.
So Read & Review please. No flames though.
