Adam squeezed his eyes shut. He'd known it was a bad idea, but in typical fashion he'd done it anyway. Now he was regretting it.

"Adam?" Adam turned quickly to see Flack looking at him.

"Flack, hey," Adam smiled. "What are you doing here?"

"I was looking for Danny, but apparently he's not here. Are you ok?"

"I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?" Don sighed.

"Your hands are shaking, Adam." Adam looked down at his hands and let out a nervous laugh.

"Oh, yeah. I had a little too much coffee this morning," Adam confessed quietly.

"Rough night?" Don asked with concern in his voice. Adam nodded slowly.

"Couldn't sleep," He mumbled. His attempts to stop his hands shaking seemed to only be making it worse. Sighing again, Flack took Adam's hands in his. Adam looked up slowly to see Don smiling at him.

"C'mon," Flack said softly. "Let's get some fresh air; see if we can work off that caffeine buzz." Adam looked from Flack to his workstation and back.

"I…" His sentence was cut off by Stella walking into the lab.

"Hey guys," She said, slowly looking down to Flack and Adam's joined hands. "Everything ok?"

"Adam's on a bit of a caffeine high," Flack explained, not letting go of the lab tech's hands. "Can you take care of the lab for a minute while I take him outside?" Stella nodded, looking to Adam with a soft smile. Flack smiled gratefully at Stella before leading Adam out of the lab.

Flack sighed heavily as he looked over to Adam.

"You can't keep not sleeping like this, Adam." Adam sighed and nodded.

"I know." Flack shook his head as he pulled Adam close and kissed him softly.

"I'm sorry I couldn't get home last night," He whispered. "I know you find it hard when I'm not there." Adam kissed Flack; pulling the older man tighter to him.

"But dosing yourself up with coffee isn't a good idea. You need your hands to work." Adam nodded against the taller man's chest.

"I know, Don. It won't happen again."

"You're right," Don smiled, kissing Adam on the forehead. "Because I'm gonna make sure I'm home, in bed with you, every night." Adam smiled widely and leaned up to kiss Flack deeply. When they parted, Adam looked down at his hands with a smile.

"Look," Adam lifted his hands. "The shaking's stopped." Flack smiled back and pulled Adam in for another kiss.
