Tattoos

The men gasped in awe as Edward discarded his shirt. "And…TA-DAA!" the Fullmetal Alchemist whooped, showing off his chest to his audience. Winry swallowed. It wasn't bare anymore.

Ed's chest was adorned with a tattoo. Not just any tattoo, either: the Flamel. It spread from his collarbone to beneath his pants, which luckily he hadn't taken off. It was as black as midnight, a symbol of Ed's choice. Or what it had been.

"So, what do you guys think?" he asked, hands akimbo. Roy swigged from a glass of whiskey and teased "You're still short, Fullmetal." Edward, to the surprise of most, simply shrugged. "Yeah, well. But I have a tattoo!" he gloated, laughing almost maniacally. Winry sighed, and twirled her glass of lemonade in her hands. He's still the same. The sound of a glass landing with a thunk on the ground caught her attention. Turning, she saw that Roy had got up, and now stood in the center of the room, to Ed's left. The usual cocky smirk adorned his face.

"I suppose I'd better show you my own tattoo, Fullmetal." the Colonel said smugly. Cheers went up from the ladies' staff. The men whooped and stamped their feet. "This tattoo," Roy began, attempting to impersonate Armstrong, "has been in the Mustang line for little over three years!" Ripping off his military shirt, Mustang let the garment float to the floor, showing his chest to the assembled men and women. Some gasped and giggled, others gasped and swore.

On Mustang's chest were the names of several women, each done in different fonts. Girls excitedly pointed out their names through the mass, and soldiers leaped at the Colonel angrily, screaming threats. Through it all, Winry sat sipping her drink, catching Ed's eye as her childhood friend laughed uproariously at the situation. It was good to see him so happy.

Looking closely, the mechanic grinned, and stood up from her seat. Walking purposely over to the amber-haired Alchemist, she pointed to the arrows on the Flamel. "I didn't know arrows were so stubby, Ed." she giggled, and hurriedly exited, the sounds of Ed charging after her flowing through her ears.

Yes, a short little drabble-y oneshot. I was bored. By the way, did you get Winry's last line at the end? R&R please!
