Anonymous leaned back, his swivel chair squeaking as he did. Flipping up the tablet, he checked the game room, before switching over to the main hall.

*Whoosh*

Anon knew that sound all too well.

Flipping down his tablet, he glanced up, finding a small girl sitting his desk, just beside the fan. She wore a simple black dress that reached down to her knees, showing off her bleach-white legs, while her feet were covered by a pair of black, shiny wedge boots. Her face and arms were just as white as her legs, her eyes were completely black, no pupils or irises. Two thick, red stripes ran down either side of her face, running from the bottoms of her eyes, until they touched the bottom of her chin.

"You forgot to wind the music box." she yawned.

'Story of my life...' he groaned to himself.

"I'm sorry..." he apologized.

"You've got one job, you know I don't like to sleep without the music."

He rubbed his eyes, sighing as he leaned back in his seat.

"You can still use my Ipod, y'know?" he replied.

"It isn't the same," she argued "I don't want those earbud things stuck in my ears all night."

"Alright, I'll try not to forget...again..."

She didn't fly back to the prize counter, however.

'Huh, funny- could've sworn the conversation was over.' he thought sarcastically.

She suddenly leant forward, and wrapped her striped arms around his neck, squeezing tightly.

"Wh-wha?" he questioned.

She inhaled deeply as she continued to hold him, then sighed in a wistful fashion. She then pulled back, staring at him with her pupiless, dark eyes.

The small girl then blushed, pink tinting the cheeks of her white face.

"I...just wanted a hug..." she stated shyly, answering his unasked question.

"I- uh...um...okay, why me, though?" he asked, genuinely curious "I mean- why not like...Bonnie? Or- Freddy; there're three of 'em roaming around?"

The 'Toy' models disliked being called 'Toys', despite being

"I wanted to hug something that was warm." she huffed.

"Ah, okay." he nodded.

"It just gets...lonely..." she said.

"Lonely?" he parroted "You've got like, ten other animatronics wandering around, and you're lonely?"

"I...I just..."

'Oh my god...is she actually tearing up?'

He suddenly felt uncomfortable, and didn't know what to do with himself as she began to sniffle and weep. Reaching over, his face burned as he stood, picking up the Marionette and hugging her tightly.

"Shhh, shhh." he soothed.

Babysitting for his cousin paid off, after all.
