Kiku couldn't help the fact that he felt like binge watching Tokyo Fiancée on days like this.

He should have related to Rinri who is Japanese, but with all that happened, he related to Amélie.
He understood her sorrow and her fears.

Kiku often wondered how Canada knew enough about his and Francis's shared past to write about it before deciding that if was pure chance that his country had produced something like this though he more recently realized that Amélie and Rinri were based off of a true story, and thus he realized that others had felt this pain and went through something close to what he and Francis had went through.

He missed Francis more and more as time went on though he figured that Francis was happiest back with Arthur than anywhere else.

After all, Francis had been with Arthur a long time before as well.

Kiku found that even this movie never eased the pain though watching it so many times while hurt often left him feeling numb tor a while despite everything.

Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day as there is the chance that he will not be reeling over heartbreak at all tomorrow though hopefully when meetings roll around in a couple of days, he'll not have to start the day off in a slump of longing and heartache.

He'd had to deal with that on a meeting day before where it made looking at Francis unbearable and where he'd felt like giving up, not taking notes, and was reluctant to voice his thoughts and could not think of what his country may need.

Francis may be happy, but Kiku was still heartbroken.
