Blaine was cleaning out his locker, perfectly content with life. Kurt was with Rachel and Finn, opening their college letters. He had wanted to be there with Kurt, just in case of bad news, But Kurt had insisted on him staying. He said he wanted to make sure He would be okay, if he hadn't gotten accepted. he turned and saw Kurt coming down the hall towards him.

"I didn't get in." Kurt choked out, crumbling into his arms.

Blaine hugged him tightly, How would that be true? Kurt had done amazing during his adution. Kurt pulled back and looked at him, "Finn didn't get in either."

"And Rachel?"

Kurt nodded, wordlessly. Blaine hugged him again. Poor Kurt, Always getting second place to one of his best friends. "Your still going to New York though, Right?"

Kurt sniffled, "I don't know. I could always just stay here with you. We could go to New York together next year."

Blaine thought about it for a moment and took Kurt's hand. "Come on. I'm going to show you part two of your graduation present." He lead him to the auditorium and sat him down in the front row. On stage was a stool and a guitar. Blaine walked on stage and sat down, picking up the sleek brown guitar. He started strumming at the chords, beginning his song to Kurt.

Hey there Kurt Hummel
What's it like in New York City?
I'm a thousand miles away
But Boy, tonight you look so pretty
Yes you do
Times Square can't shine as bright as you
I swear it's true.

Hey there Kurt Hummel
Don't you worry about the distance
I'm right there if you get lonely
Give this song another listen
Close your eyes
Listen to my voice, it's my disguise
I'm by your side

Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
What you do to me

Hey there Kurt Hummel
I know times are getting hard
But just believe me, boy
Someday I'll pay the bills with this guitar
We'll have it good
We'll have the life we knew we would
My word is good

Hey there Kurt Hummel
I've got so much left to say
If every simple song I wrote to you
Would take your breath away
I'd write it all
Even more in love with me you'd fall
We'd have it all

Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me

A thousand miles seems pretty far
But they've got planes and trains and cars
I'd walk to you if I had no other way
Our friends would all make fun of us
and we'll just laugh along because we know
That none of them have felt this way
Kurt Hummel I can promise you
That by the time we get through
The world will never ever be the same
And you're to blame

Hey there Kurt Hummel
You be good and don't you miss me
One more year and I'll be done with school
And I'll be making history like I do
You'll know it's all because of you
We can do whatever we want to
Hey there Kurt Hummel here's to you
This one's for you

Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
What you do to me.

Kurt smiled lovingly and walked up onstage and hugged Blaine tightly. "That was beautiful Blaine."

"I love you...I dont want you to put off your dream just because I can't go. I'll be there with you, In spirit and in your heart. But incase you have any doudts, and since I'm planning on joining you in New York as soon as I graduate...And we all know I'm for marriage equality..." Blaine got down on one knee and held up a plain silver ring, With the Word Blackbird ecthed upon it. "Kurt Hummel, Will you marry me?"

Kurt's hand flew to his mouth, He could hardly speak. So he just nodded yes. Blaine smiled so widely and kissed Kurt passionatley.

His dreams were coming true at last.
