Hayner always did whatever he wanted at the time. He acted on impulse, and often that got him into trouble. Usually him and Roxas would come up with idiotic, crazy plans when neither Olette or Pence was around, and end up getting into a fight when it turned out badly, as it always did. They got themselves through it (Well, actually, Olette just knocked some sense into them like the mother figure she was) most of the time, and they still managed to remain friends through it all somehow.

That's not the point here, though. The point is that Hayner never thinks things through. If he wants something, he'll just go and take it without a second thought.

So when one day he suddenly got the urge to kiss Seifer while they were having a sparring match, he didn't stop for even a second to think about it.

That's pretty much how he ended up pinned against a wall, Seifer kissing him harshly, their tongues sliding together in the most maddening way.

He made a mental note to take Olette's advice once and awhile and think before he acted, though he was having a bit of trouble thinking anything at the moment. This might be the one on-impulse thing he ever did that didn't turn out too bad, anyway.
