A/N: okay, well here's another oneshot that I came up with after hearing Ne-Yo's "When You're Mad." It's a list that James composes after he meets Lily but he adds more to it every year.
Hope you like it!

I was sitting in the common room, looking at a list that I had started in first year about a certain redhead. I had listed every thing she did that turned me on, but I hadn't looked at it all summer.
I looked at the first thing and groaned
1. The way she says my surname when she's mad at me
Lily obviously still has no idea that used to turn me on
2. The way she tries to hide her smile when we prank some of the teachers
She could never hide that, no matter how much she tried
3. The way she wears layers of clothes during the school year, but wears a two-piece swimsuit in the summer
I don't think she even realized I would keep my eyes on her during the last month of school, when I was supposed to be talking to the guys
4. The way she smiles even when I hurt her
Now that was a new one. I had forgotten I had done that. she hadn't actually smiled at me, but she was still able to smile
5. The way she pushes at me to get away from me
Ahhh, I remember the exact circumstances of that one. I believe I had annoyed her to no end with all the asking out
6. The way her cheeks turn a bright pink when she's about to yell
Oh, yes, I had forgotten she tended to turn that shade when she was angry, more particularly with me
7.
I looked at the seventh one. I didn't write one? And don't people usually say that number 7 is a lucky number?
Just as I reflected on that, Lily Evens comes down the stairs, and glances at the piece of parchment in my hand.
"You know, number seven is supposed to be a lucky number," I say out loud for no reason.
"So it is," she says and kisses me lightly on the mouth. I don't respond for less than five seconds and then I'm kissing her back. The kiss becomes heated and then she pulls away. "Number seven is very lucky," she whispers and walks off, leaving me still feeling disoriented.
I glance back down at the parchment, pick up a quill and write:
7. The way she kisses me like there's no tomorrow
