Obi-Wan Kenobi sat in his house on the planet of Corsucant. He had once resided in the house as a boy with his parents, and now he lived there with his wife, Padme Kenobi, and Padme's twins Luke and Leia Kenobi. Padme was several months pregnant, so soon it would be a family of five. Suddenly, Luke and Leia came rushing into the house and hugged Obi-Wan. Not knowing their own father, now at the age of five, Obi-Wan was the only Father they knew.

"Tell us a story, daddy." said Luke.

"You aren't going to bed for several hours. The story can wait." said Obi-Wan.

"You're a Jedi! You tell good stories!" squealed Leia.

Padme entered the room, her hand resting on her swollen stomach. She leaned over and kissed Luke and Leia on the heads.

"Go play outside. The time will pass faster." said Padme.

Luke and Leia smiled and rushed outside. Padme sat down on the couch, right next to her husband. She took his hand as they both watched the children play.

"We're lucky, aren't we, Obi-Wan? We have Luke and Leia, this child, each other..." said Padme, laying her head on Obi-Wan's shoulder.

"Very. Five years ago, I could've lost you or the children. I don't know if I could bare that. It would be the worst pain. Like a stab through my heart." said Obi-Wan.

"I can remember very little about that day. Before I fainted, all I could see was you looking down at me, with Luke in your arms. I was so worried that I would not be able to see you again."

"You lived. That's all that matters." said Obi-Wan, placing a kiss ontop of Padme's head.

Padme gasped and sat up, her eyes widend with surprise. Obi-Wan seemed concerned. Padme smiled and turned to look at Obi-Wan.

"Give me your hand, Obi-Wan." said Padme.

Padme took Obi-Wan's hand and placed it against her stomach. Soon, he could feel something press against his hand. Padme and Obi-Wan shared a smile, knowing that they had both felt their child. The child they had made together. Obi-Wan kissed Padme on the lips.

Inside of the Jedi Temple, Obi-Wan woke up in his bed. Sweat trinkling down his face. Quietly, he crawled out of bed and ran down the darken halls. He found Master Yoda standing and looking outside of a window at the evening sky.

"A late hour, Master Kenobi. Sleep is what you need." said Yoda.

"I know, Master. I had another dream." said Obi-Wan.

"Dream about Queen Amidala, you did?" asked Yoda.

"Yes, Master. I did dream about Pa...Queen Amidala."

"A Jedi must let go of feelings."

"I had no feelings for her, Master."

"Dreams brought on by feelings. Feelings that are unwanted."

"I was close to her. Only because of Anakin."

Obi-Wan bowed and began to walk away from Yoda, when...

"Dead she is. Never to return." said Yoda.

Obi-Wan couldn't help but shed a tear, as he calmly proceeded back to his room. Grabbing his cloak off a nearby hanger, Obi-Wan sneaked outside and hopped into his blue-colored speeder. He raced it to the planet of Naboo. Upon landing on Naboo, Obi-Wan came across a small patch of yellow flowers. He picked the most beautiful one and shoved it into his cloak pocket. After walking for some time, he came across a cementary. It didn't take too long to come across Padme's tombstone. Falling to his knees, Obi-Wan began to sob. He carefully removed the flower from his pocket and placed it ontop of the tombstone. He laid his hand ontop of the tombstone and used his fingers to run across Padme's engraved name. Master Yoda had been right. For twenty years, he had had loved Padme. He had loved her since he first saw her. He had only realized it now. Now that she was dead. Obi-Wan realized what a fool he had had been. He had waited too long.
