Every night was the same. Every night Jonathan would come looking for answers. Every night he would gaze hopelessly, unsuccessfully into the hazed reflection that gave him no reply. Hours, days and nights he spent searching, Pondering his strange existence. Of course he did get answers. Answers he didn't want. From a voice that he alone created.

He hated it. Consistently looking over his shoulder for someone who wasn't there. The constant nagging and beating of his insane mind. Of course that's what everyone else thought. He was insane.

They could smell insanity in this city. They could sense it. Jonathan didn't even look well. His mind was torn in two and it showed.

The raged and sculled suit, his lanky frame and his face. The biggest give away was his tired and wary face, it gave away the battle for dominance in his head. His eyes, His eyes leaked insanity. They were powerful. Just a simple look could break someone.

Jonathan wasn't very threatening physically but he was good with words by his own doing. He read a lot as a child, spent all his money on books to make his knowledge second to none, one of a few skills he had picked up without his alter ego but where did that get him after all? A life of torment and bullying. The only reason HE was born in the first place.

He was unquestionably talking about the scarecrow. His friend and tormentor. A love hate relationship to say the least. The scarecrow teased and taunted him .Jonathan craved him craved him like a drug all the same.

The reflection split forming an image of a masked man that stood proudly behind him. Jonathan didn't question if this was real. He enjoyed his company.

The jagged touch of the mans gloved hand on the doctor's skin sent shivers down his spine. He needed his touch. He needed his guidance.

He stared at the masked mans face, he showed no remorse. No emotion in his eyes .

Jonathan now trapped in the scarecrows embrace sunk, submissive and willing to be controlled. He grinned. Moving into the scarecrow's touch, the reflection smiling back at him.
