Enter The Darkness: Part 1
Prelude:
Unbeknownst to most mortals, under the crust of the earth lives the bane of all Elf-kind. Accused eons ago of being evil, the Drow were banished, and have lived for thousands of years in exile, under the surface of the earth. Often a member of a clan is banished from their midst, because they choose not to follow the collective decision of their peoples, so they are forever doomed to be banished from both worlds.
Chapter 1.
Eclipse woke up with dawn's light shining at him; it's almost funny; his eyes were almost adjusted to the sun. After almost 300 years underground though, he knew that would never happen. After putting on his cloak, he stepped out of his U/V filtered tent, and proceeded to say his daily prayers. Upon finishing he was going about making a fire when his ears, more sensitive than most, picked up a strange noise. Drawing his blades with lightning-fast speed he turned, ready to fight if necessary, to face whom ever was behind him. "Peace friend" Said the stranger; he was tall, well dressed, had a scythe strapped on his back. "I was told by the villagers that a ranger had come through, but I never thought you were a Drow." Said the stranger congenially.
"Who are you, and why are you here?" asked Eclipse cautiously. "Well, I need some help. I had heard that the Drow were the best trackers, and that I should probably try to find one." "So you decided to stalk me??" "well, technically, yes, however I need your help, badly."
As the two warriors sat, eating breakfast, little did they know that they were being surrounded. The attackers were actually a small group of goblins. Goblins are hard to describe, being rarely seen except by their prey, however I will try. They are about three feet tall, and use a wide variety of weapons. They are mostly greenish or gray colored, and usually not very articulate. The groups around our heroes were exceptionally stupid. Otherwise they wouldn't have worn animal-fat face paints. Eclipse, smelling them, drew his twin, handmade, Drow Shamshirs, wielding with expert skill he then disemboweled three of them within two seconds.
The stranger at the same time drew his blade, a five foot broad sword with a serrated tips, and killed four goblins with one swing.
Hmmm.. thought Eclipse as he watched the stranger drop the sword and unsheathe his scythe in order to attack the goblin's chief. Now the leader of the goblins was easily recognized, as he was extraordinarily rotund and surrounded by a throng of lesser goblins trying to protect him. Now the key word there is trying, though not very successfully, for as the stranger moved he sliced, decapitating goblins as though they were stalks of wheat.
Seeing that he had no chance of surviving the grossly overweight goblin attempted to run. However, before he could get away Eclipse grabbed him by his leg and held him up. "I think that I know something a bit more fitting than death for this one." He stated. Later that day the two talked, while listening to the goblin scream for forgiveness from the top of a tree, the stranger's story was farfetched one eclipse thought, but it matched up fully to what he had been feeling and dreading for a long time now.

Chapter 2.
As the stranger kept talking he realized that he didn't even know Eclipse's name and he became curious. "Say," he said, "I've been talking all this time without even knowing your name. Mine's Chera`noc, what's yours??" Eclipse just looked at him for a few minutes as if he was mad, then he responded "Eclipse Darkscythe, third child of the yag`noch clan, Disinherited." "Ohhh, okay, I see." Said Chera`Noc, "Well, you can call me Cher, 'K??" Eclipse glance at "Cher" with a puzzled looked and then responded.
"Well "Cher", what did you need me for anyways? You seem to be a fully capable fighter."
