"Protocol activation ID: 1595141896. Sequence: X-17482/LR95. Coordinates: S-58392/L-18493/G-1749382/P-1749283409. Scan." The robotic voice of the computer droned. It had been exactly four months since Earth had fallen to the program known as X.A.N.A. The errors and corruption coded into the being of humans had finally been solved.
However, there was still a secondary problem. The scanners had picked up signs of life on multiple other planets. The scans have picked up the same errors in these beings, as well. It just wasn't logical. The errors needed to be fixed. Likely eliminated, if the need came about; just as it did here on Earth.
X.A.N.A. however had a plan to fix these errors. Duplication. Now that the humans were taken care of, it opened multiple gateways for X.A.N.A. to use. Including duplicating itself into multiple 'forms', with enough strength to last on its own. If these new life forms were advanced enough, the chance of having technology of their own was nearly definite. It would give X.A.N.A. enough time to recharge at each given point, to return itself to the power it has currently.
Recently, X.A.N.A. has picked up life on a distant galaxy. So, after the confirmation scan to ensure the truth in this, it would then require X.A.N.A. to upload itself to a satellite – using the gathered computer power and technology from Earth to decrease the average time it would take to travel to this distant galaxy.
In the four months since the fall of Earth, it had given X.A.N.A. the time to increase the given technology on Earth. In turn, it gave X.A.N.A. a chance to increase the defense of satellites, and their speed, as well. Unlike these humans, X.A.N.A. had the logic to complete the programming required to do so. It was quite simple, really. And it was another point to show the errors the humans that once lived here had.
At this current time, X.A.N.A. was able to travel 4.5 light-years each moment on the satellites with minimal damage at most. So, to travel an estimated 458968455.999999… light-years, it would require an estimated 196.7457373113854595336076817558 3 years of travel. Relatively short in comparison to the former. If only it were as quick as the scanners – the errors of these creatures might already be corrected. However, it is illogical to dwell on what is not yet in creation.
"Protocol: Confirmation\\Life detected." Before the computer had even finished its statement, X.A.N.A. had already started uploading a 'form' of itself onto the satellite. It was time. The errors would soon be corrected.
