Authors Note: This is my personal work, as in it's my story that I have written by my self. The characters are mine and are solely the creations of the overactive imagination of a young aspiring writer. I love fanfiction and I understand that most fanfiction is based on characters previously created by published authors but, I wanted to get peoples opinion on my work and this seemed like the perfect place including FictionPress were it is also posted. This story is the world to me and one day I hope to get it published so please, I beg you not to copy my work. I've worked my hardest to make it the best it can be and it contains my heart and soul, so please do not copy any of it. Thank you, and please R&R. -Roni
PREFACE
I was running, where? I didn't know, anywhere; it didn't matter. I just needed to get away now that he was gone, it had taken him and now he was something else, something indescribable; He wasn't mine anymore.
It wanted to take me; it was still chasing me. I turned my head to look, yeah, no doubt, he was there, and he was coming.
I continued to make my way through the obstacles of the forest, jumping over logs, dodging branches: who would have thought clumsy Sapphire was running so swiftly. Well, that's why he taught me the ways of the kind, animalistic was the way to go, and trust me I was going.
Somewhere in the back of my mind I knew he was going to get me, I even kind of wanted him to, I would probably still end up with Avery, but not like this, he wouldn't want it like this, or at least the real one wouldn't. That train of thought filled with the certainty that all hope was lost seemed to have slowed me down.
He was there, he had come also; they had worked together. I stopped and started backing away. He was going to pounce, I knew it, and I could see it in his eyes. How beautiful they had been, but now they were black. I think he did it on purpose, flashing that violet hue at me, just to make me suffer and beg for the times we'd lost, but it wasn't him; this was the monster.
They both came at me, one from the front, and one from the back; I couldn't even catch my breath.
