Note: I've been changing alot of my stories into a better plot.

"Brother? Brother!" Alphonse whispered through the library as he looked for Edward, his older brother.

"Maybe he found a good book on alchemy or even on the Philosopher Stone." Al thought. He walked past two bookshelves and found tables and chairs where you can settle down and read your book. Alphonse scanned that area and saw a familiar face.

"Brother?" Alphonse walked over to the table of where Edward had stacked a pile of books that might be useful. Alphonse sighed as he saw Edward reading a thick book.

"Brother? I think it's time for us to go now. We can look through these books later." he said as he neatened the pile of books so it was easy to carry. But Edward didn't reply. Usually he'd say "Ok." or "Sure" or even a grunt. But he was just silent.

"What are you reading?" Alphonse peered over Edward's shoulder and read a few lines of the book.

Eragon recoiled in shock. Standing in front of him, licking off the membrane that encased it, was a dragon.

"Eragon? Dragon?' Alphonse thought to himself. Edward turned the page. He was so engrossed in the book that he didn't even notice Alphonse! Al sighed as he knew that there was no other way on getting Edward to stop reading that book, but one. Al didn't want to do this but he had to.

Alphonse bent lower to Edward's ear and whispered "Pipsqueak." Edward jumped, looking up and then realizing that Alphonse was beside him.

"A-A-Al! W-what are you doing here?" Edward stammerd as he slammed the book shut.

"Here to pick you up. I know how sometimes you loose track of time." Edward tried to hide the book behind his back.

"What were you reading?" Alphonse asked as he noticed Edward trying to hide the book away from him.

"N-Nothing..." he lied.

"It wasn't nothing. You were so engrossed in that book that you didn't even notice me."

"I'm telling you it's nothing to be concerned about." Edward just gave him a nervous grin.

"Oh yes it is." Alphonse got ready to grab the book from Edward. Just as Edward was about to run and put the book away really quickly, Alphonse snatched it from his hands. He quickly read the title, using his armored hand to block Edward from jumping onto him to grab the book.

"Eragon?" Alphonse opened the book and flipped through the pages.

"A-Alphonse!" Edward tried to grab the book away from him, but that didn't work. "This doesn't look like an Alchemy book to me..."

"It's cause it isn't!" Edward caught Alphonse off guard and grabbed the book from him.

"It isn't? Then what's it about?" Alphonse asked. Edward blushed a bit.

"Something other than alchemy..." he whispered.

"Is it about dragons? A boy who finds a dragon egg?" Alphonse guesed. Edward jumped. "How do you know?" Alphonse looked at Edward. "..Wild Guess." he said. Edward sighed.

"Come on. I wanna go back to the hotel." he said. Edward turned around and walked towards the exit. "W-wait up Brother!"

"I'll race ya!" Edward began running. Alphonse ran a bit, slowed down and continued back walking.

"It's a good thing that he's taking a break from reading all those books about Alchemy. He hasn't read anything else other than Alchemy books since we were younger. It might actually help get a load off of stress." Alphonse thought. He remembered back to all those days when Edward use to work his ass off just to find something about alchemy and the Philosopher's Stone that would help them get clues on how to get their original bodies back. Al couldn't do anything except support him from behind and watch him. At least he knew when to take a break thought Al.

Just the first chapter or the prologue. I'm still developing the characters that are gonna be in the story. My brain is gonna explode!
