Yeah...every time I say that I'll be putting something new up soon...I don't. I should really stop saying that. I think I jinx myself.

Toph's eyes were closed serenely. Her head rested gently on Aang's shoulder. Aang's head was lying softly on top of hers. His eyes were also closed peacefully. Their chairs were pushed up next to each other as closely as was possible. They were holding hands tenderly under the table.
They seemed to paint the perfect picture of blissful young love.
Across the room, Katara scoffed.
"Goodness gracious, those two are absolutely hopeless." She laughed quietly, taking a sip of tea. Sokka raised an eyebrow.
"What do you mean?" he asked with a slight smile. Katara rolled her eyes.
"Oh please, Sokka. All that lovey-dovey stuff," she turned towards the couple again and allowed a smile to creep across her lips. "It's sweet."
Next to her, Zuko chuckled softly. "It's not really like them though. I've never seen them sit so still." He mused, following his wife's gaze. She nodded earnestly.
"We weren't nearly that bad when we were first married." She said simply, raising her cup back up to her lips. At that, both Sokka and Suki erupted into a fit of laughter. Katara and Zuko narrowed their eyes.
"What?" they asked in unison. Sokka shook his head. Suki leaned towards the pair.
"You're right," she said, grinning hugely. "You two were much, much worse!" At this, Katara and Zuko both looked extremely indignant. Sokka and Suki continued to laugh. Katara put her cup down and folded her arms, raising an eyebrow expectantly. Zuko cleared his throat loudly.
Sokka and Suki finally managed to calm themselves down, still shaking their heads and smirking. Suki clasped her hands together and cried, "Zukypoo! Would you come here?" Sokka wondrously managed to stop snickering for long enough to reply with an exaggerated sigh.
"Yes, my love," he cried, throwing his arms around her. They proceeded to kiss each other passionately, making all sorts of strange noises that got more than a few strange looks from the surrounding tables.
Before long, they were both laughing so hard that they could no longer continue.
Zuko and Katara sat silently, glaring at them forebodingly.
"Oh Sokka!" Katara wailed suddenly, turning towards Zuko. "Carry my bag why don't you?" She thrust an imaginary bag towards him. Zuko bowed and pretended to take it from her.
"Of course," he said, "anything for you."
Katara leaned back in her chair and sighed. "It's too hot. Fan me Sokka." Zuko jumped up, grinning and pretended to fan her.
"Rub my feet!" she cried. He obliged.
After a few more commands, the two of them were now the ones chortling. Sokka and Suki, on the other hand, did not look amused.
"You two were worse!" Sokka yelled suddenly. Katara snapped forward and slapped her palms on the table. "We were not!" she snapped.
"You were!" Suki screeched.
"We weren't nearly as bad as you two!" Zuko bellowed.
"It was you!"
"No, it was you!"
"YOU!"
"YOU!"
The sound of giggling from behind them made them all stop and turn around.
Katara dropped the chopsticks she was brandishing, Zuko took his hand away from Sokka's face, Suki let go of Katara's hair, and Sokka let go of Zuko's shirt all very quickly. They all tried to smooth themselves out and look refined as Aang and Toph grinned down at them.
"Oh yeah. We're hopeless."
Ah...newlyweds...what possibilities there are...
