DISCLAMIER: I don't own Palex and I don't own this song: "It's you" BY Michelle Branch.

Summary: It's short. And sorry for the shortness. But I just wanted to write something short and sweet. I had writers block really bad last night and my girlfriend and I were trying to throw around ideas and I came up with this.

If tomorrow never comes
I would want just one thing
I would tell it to the stars and the sun
I would write it for the world to see

I changed. A lot when she came into my world. I stopped fighting so much with everyone, and took an interest in things that I hadn't before. Went to more sports events just to cheer her on as she cheered to the crowd. Gradually getting every ones attention. I'm lying beside her now, keeping her close to me as I cradle her body against mine. Slowly inhaling and exhaling her in. My own private treasure.

And it's you
The light changes when you're in the room
Oh it's you
Oh it's you

She rolled over to the feel of my touch. The light from her closet spreading an orange glow over her soft cheeks. Her eyes opened slightly and smiled at me. My black eyes sparked and dazzled with hers, dancing in it's own private twilight.

If tomorrow never comes
I would want just one wish
To kiss your quiet mouth
Trace the steps with my fingertips

I leaned down and kissed her gently. Or nightly rituals of me sneaking into her room after dark were beginning to be expected from her. She was use to feeling me wrapped around her at night. Keeping her safe and cozy.

And it's you
The light changes when you're in the room
Oh it's you
Oh it's you
Oh it's you

She wrapped a blanket around us both, and kissed my brow, making sure I was still in front of her as she closed her eyes. As she slept, I watched, like I had numerous times before. I saw her eyes move under her eyelids, and I wondered if she was dreaming, was she dreaming of me?
