'Hi, I'm Gloria Willow, or just 'that shy girl'. I just turned seventeen and am currently living in , Michigan with my mom and baby sister, Nicolette. Nicolette, or Nicky, just turned eight in September, and is having fun attending Elementary school here in St. Joseph. I go to highschool like any girl my age, but I'm shy and usually sit in the backrow with a book, my eyes down as I read. I have only one close friend, and thats my dalmation puppy, Fenris. I got him a month ago in October, he's the best birthday present ever, and he has the most beautiful blue eyes. I also got this journal as a present, and I have finally decided to write in it. Anyway, I'm a tall girl, around 5'6, and I have shoulder length, natural, bleach blonde hair. My eyes are a blue-grey and my skin is pale, a lot of people say I look like a porcelin doll, and that I'm very pretty, but I don't believe them. My mom's name is Natasha, and she looks like me only with green eyes and longer hair, she's a very nice woman who never thinks of herself. She works for a small company so we move a lot. My dad died a few years ago, he was a trucker and got in an accident causing him to pass away, it was really sad. Nicolette got his brown hair, and mom's green eyes so she's really pretty. Now, a few days ago mom had come in and told my sister and I that we were moving, it was hard since we have lived her for five years now, but we sucked it up and nodded are heads. Mom says we're going to some place called Forks, this can't be good, I've never even heard of this place! Oh well, I guess I'll adapt like always. Bye: G.W.'
I closed the small black journal and sighed, my hand was starting to hurt from writing all that. I glanced around the small room that was painted purple, boxes were pushed against the walls, filled with my books and some childhood stuffed animals. I smiled softly, as my eyes roved over them, my fingers absentmindedly drumming the surface of my book. I looked at my side to see the black and white spotted creature known as Fenris sleeping soundly, his little sides rising and falling with each calm breath he took. I watched him before sitting up and placing the book in my nightstand, laying back down I pulled the blankets over me and turned off the bedside lamp, eyes slipping shut as I sighed.
"I hope we finally find a home." I whispered to the air, my fingers toying with the blanket as I slowly found my way to a dreamless sleep.
SO there is my prologue.
