I can't believe this is really happening. I am on Broadway. I, Rachel Barbra Berry, have finally made it big! All the little things that seemed unimportant have let me do this. I thought putting so much of my precious time and energy into New Directions was stupid and pointless until we won Nationals my senior year! It was the best day of my life.

There was a person from Broadway there for whatever reason. When they saw me perform my original song that won us Sectionals the year before, they talked to Mr. Shue and asked if he would mind losing me to be on Broadway.

I had made it big while still in high school! This had to have been a dream. I pinched myself, it wasn't. When they first introduced me to the cast of West Side Story, I was star struck. The vocal and dancing coaches helped prepare me for the role of Maria, the role I always wanted. I was so shocked that they gave such a big part to someone who had never been on Broadway before. I mean I was fresh out of high school.

A few years later, after my role in West Side Story had fizzled out; I went looking for a new show to be in. While searching I came across a show I could not believe. I looked at the directors name Artie Abrams. I could not believe it. Arties was working on Broadway? When I looked at what the show was, I saw it was about his life. Interested, I looked at what roles needed to be cast, and saw he needed all of the members of New Directions. I walked into the audition confident of my abilities.

"Hi I'm Rachel Berry auditioning for the role of Rachel Berry. I will be singing 'On My Own' from the seminal Broadway classic, Les Mis." I belted out the tune with perfection and smiled at him. "When do we start rehearsals?"

When the show ran its course, Artie and I moved in together and eventually got married and had 3 kids, Maria (after my first role on Broadway), William (after Mr. Shue who inspired us both) and Meredith (we just thought it was a beautiful name). We grew old and died in each other's arms at 108.

A/N: I used some of the information from the show (the part where she is speaking to Artie about the audition came from the pilot. And where she wanted to play Maria in West Side Story came from the episode 'Rhodes Not Taken'.) Also for all you Grey's Anatomy fans, you may have caught the reference to what Derek said to Meredith about dying in her arms at 108. Read and review please! XOXO~ Katie
