/Beauty queen of only eighteen

she had some trouble with herself

he was always there to help her

she always belonged to someone else

I drove for miles and miles and wound up at your door

I've had you so many times but somehow

I want more/

Garfield Logan sat down in his first class- History. He hated History. He hated school. But he also enjoyed making fun of the teachers.

Raven sat down on the seat next to him in the front row. She was the Goth girl- everybody acted like she was invisible.

But little did she know he had a huge crush on her.

/I don't mind spending every day

out on your corner in the pouring rain

look for the girl with the broken smile

ask her if she wants to stay awhile

and she will be loved

she will be loved/

"Garfield Logan! I asked you a question!" Beast Boy realized he had been daydreaming about Raven (who else?).

An angry teacher was glaring down at him, expecting an answer.

"What?" Garfield asked.

Raven rolled her eyes. "It was Columbus, moron."

"Oh. Heh, heh."

/Tap on my window, knock on my door

I want to make you feel beautiful

I know I tend to get so insecure

it doesn't matter anymore

it's not always rainbows and butterflies

it's compromise that moves us along

my heart is full and my door's always open

you come any time you want/

Later that day Garfield sat with his friend Victor Stone, staring at the Goth girl who ate alone in the corner- way from the other teens.

"Yo, BB, you there?" Victor waved his hand in front of Garfield's face.

"Oh, sorry." Victor just grinned.

"You like Raven Roth." He told him.

"No, I don't! Where'd you get that crazy idea?" Garfield quickly defended himself.

"It's pretty obvious, man."

Silence.

"Maybe you should tell her."

"I am not going to tell her! She doesn't feel the same way!"

Victor smiled.

/I know where you hide

alone in your car

know all of the things that make you who you are

I know that good bye means nothing at all

comes back and begs me to catch her every time she falls/

"Finally!" Garfield cried as he hurried out the doors of the highschool.

Then he noticed Raven Roth sitting on a bench reading.

He walked over to her.

"Hey,"

"Hi." She replied dryly, not looking up from her book. Even though her face was hidden under the hood of her jacket, you could tell she was blushing slightly.

"What are you reading?" He questioned.

"Why do you care? Go run off with your friends. I'm just invisible."

Garfield wouldn't give up. He sat down next to her.

"I can see you."

Raven smiled.
