Gas Station Blues
Sam still wasn't sure what he was doing going on a road trip with his big brother when he had such an important interview in the next few days. More than that, he wasn't sure he felt comfortable lying to his girlfriend who only knew the barest details of his life pre-Stanford. Settling against the seat, he supposed he should have been surprised that Dean kept the car in such excellent shape. Rolling his head to the side when Dean veered off course, the flashing sign of a gas station met his sore eyes.
"Uh, what are we doing here?"
"Well, Sammy, this is where folks usually go to refuel their vehicles."
Sam rolled his eyes, resisting the urge to shove him. "I know that, Dean, but she's half-full."
"She's thirsty, Sam. There's a difference."
