Sever the Silence~

Look, the night. Is there beauty here? Breathing, breathing. The strings are drawn, our bodies rise. Twirl and whirl and glide like fire. Heat pulses thick through the air; feel it. Can you feel it? See how we spin, in 3/4 time. To a silent symphony. Threadbare strings entwined, messing us, throwing us off. You and I are tied up, skin against skin. Can you feel my heart beating? Do I have a heart? Tangled parts chafe and clatter in precious discord, there is no harmony, there is no unity. Breathing, breathing. We become frantic, faster, faster. Crashing against each other. Locked, unable to stop, thrashing, smashing me down. See how we spin, in 3/4 time. I can't break this spell around me. Save me from your poison, use me, take me, break me. I'm shaking now, there's nothing left. Sever me. When has it sounded so sour? We tumble to the ground. Our strings come untied, they break, they unwind. Not breathing. No more. There is nothing found. We are not wood, we are skin. Answer myself: I have no heart. Your body is cold. What will we make of these scattered remains?
