Cuba's challenge! The first chapter is finally done -sigh-

I just noticed how poor I am at challenges - I'll probably just try to stuff everything in hastily /

This happens during James, Lily, etc etc's sixth year.

The rain splashed down in torrents, and soon the grounds were flooded.

"I'm bored," Sirius sighed. Remus looked up at him pointedly, then resumed reading. This was the forty-ninth time Sirius had said that today.

"Well, I am!" he retorted.

"Then find something to do!" Lily rolled her eyes. She hated being distracted from her work – especially when the assignment was Ancient Runes, and she, for one, did not have a talent for language. Mary, who was trying to help her, giggled.

Sirius's eyes lit up. "Of course!" He sped off, out of the hole, and disappeared.

Lily rolled her eyes again. "Typical."

Five minutes later, and Sirius was back, clutching several butterbeers and pulling James and Peter through the doorway, toward where Lily, Mary, Marlene, and Remus were sitting.

"I hate to think what's going to happen now," Lily groaned inwardly as James gave her a would-be casual smile.

"We're gonna play TruimphDare!" Sirius seated himself on Peter's lap, who gave a muffled groan and tried to push him off. "Ow, that hurt, Wormtail – what? You don't like it? Oh, so you do like it?"

"Padfoot, get off the poor fellow." With a flick of Remus' wand, Sirius was hanging upside down, suspended by one ankle. Sirius screamed, and James let him down with another flick of his mahogany wand.

"So… what were you saying?" Marlene raised an eyebrow.

"Truimphdare," Sirius repeated excitedly. "It's a Muggle game James taught me. Muggles play it."

"And how does it work?" Lily inquired skeptically. She was on the bridge of leaving as soon as possible. If James was involved, it couldn't be anything too good.

"Well…" Sirius thought for a moment. "Uhm... I forgot. James, explain!"

"It's actually Truth and Dare. You roll the dice –"he flicked his wand and there, where a quill used to be, now stood a handsome dice, "if you roll odds, then the others get to ask an embarrassing question about you. And if you roll evens, we get to come up with a dare."

"And you must answer," Sirius continued, grinning. "Or we get to steal a can of raw squid from the kitchens – you know, Professor Lin eats the stuff- and pour it all over you."

Everyone tensed.

so.. how was it? -big siriusy grin-
