You go back to your apartment, where Lily is playing videogames in the living room. She notices you come in and pauses her game.
"Where have you BEEN? I thought we were gonna play a co-op game!" Lily says, putting on a look of mock hurt on her face.
"Sorry, I was...doing something with Adrian," you reply sheepishly. Lily takes in your messy hair and disoriented look. "I bet I know just what you two were doing," she says slyly. You blush. "Nothing happened. We were just talking," you say defensively.
"Right. And I'm sure your TALKING," Lily points to your hair, "did THAT." You frantically try to flatten your hair. In the midst of doing so, there's a knock on the door. You take your hands from your hair and try to casually walk to the door. Lily snorts at the effort. You open the door to find Adrian fiddling with his watch, something in his hand. When he sees you he immediately stops.
"Erh, hello, Remy," he says, a little flustered.
"Hey, Adrian," you reply, trying your best to sound calm.
"You left this," Adrian says hurriedly. He places your jacket in your hands.
"Oh," you mumble, wrapping it around your waist. Adrian watches intently. You look up and immediately lose yourself in his eyes. He seems to do the same. You grab him by the front of his suit and pull him closer. He doesn't even try to resist, and leans forward, wrapping his arms around you. You lean forward, and--
Lily clears her throat.
The two of you pull back, faster than lightning. You look over at Lily. She has an amused look on her face.
"'Nothing happened,'" she mocks. You look at the floor, a small smile evident on your face. Adrian's eyes widen and his face goes red, but he soon regains his composure. "Hello, Lily," he manages to say.
"Hey," Lily replies. The room falls into silence. Lily sits on the couch in silent triumph, while Adrian awkwardly stands there, caught off guard for once. You continue to stare at the floor. "Well, I must be going," Adrian says.
"Bye!" Lily says enthusiastically, and lets him out. When she comes back, she smirks at you.
"Play any videogame I want for a month, and I'll never bring it up again," she says.
Here's another one. Hope you enjoy!
