You can't stop these tears from falling,
They cover you like a blanket.
The stress is too much for one to take,
You think you're going under.
You think you just gotta give it up,
Let the world go.
Let this pain,
This anger well up inside you.
You think it's gonna be all right,
You think this pain is going to end?
You'll never know,
Until the dawn brings you back to life.
Get up boy,
Face the world.
For there is always tomorrow...
For there is always tomorrow.
"Here." Gently helping him up she smiled. "I know how you feel..." She looked to the skies... "When the world is against you and there's nowhere to turn. What do you do? Where to go? How to face it?" Still holding his hand she lead him to a stream. Across the bubbling brook she guided him, carefully stepping on each stone lightly.
"Where are we going?" She only smiled and shook her head. On the other side lay a field of grass. "Not much is it?"
"Be patient...this isn't it...yet." Her voice sounded misty and far away. Upon reaching the middle, there stood a tree, a Sakura tree with pale pink blossoms floating mischievously. She looked into his face and her grin became wider. "C'mon, up this tree...just follow me." Upon reaching the highest branch without towering over the tree they sat in silence until the orange orb began to fade. Upon descending, it cast a pinkish-red glow, with orange mingling in. A single dove perched lightly on the branch above them, began to coo softly. A nightingale, off into the distance, sang a slow, sweet melody, accompanied by the wind sighing softly through the trees. For a moment the world was still.
"It's gorgeous, but why did you bring me here?" "Because this is my favorite spot. It's my chance to get away, away from the world, only if it's for a little while. I wanted to show it to you, so if you ever need time to yourself, feel free to come here." She gave him a warm smile and the twinkle in her eyes made him think everything would be all right, if only for a little while. Almost brotherly he wrapped his arm around her and wished he could stay here forever. Being with the team isn't always easy, not if you're the constant source of 'entertainment'. Branches hung around them like green mist. The dark hue contrasting with the pale setting sky, painted a pretty picture. Resting her head on his chest she sighed contently. "Do you mind if I ask you a question?"
"Go ahead...ask away!" She let her arms float up in an exaggerated gesture. He laughed. "Who are you?" She smiled and replied, "Your maiden."
You'll never know what the dawn bring,
Laughter?
Sorrow?
Just pick yourself up,
Move on.
Just face the world,
Let the it embrace you.
Get up boy,
There's always tomorrow.
Get up boy,
You gotta show it to them once again.
Pull the ropes,
Take the reins.
You know it'll be all right,
You know this pain will end.
For there's always tomorrow...
For there's always tomorrow.
A/n: Can you guess who they are? Smiles I got the inspiration from a poem I wrote in my Xanga journal. This is the poem...the one on the top is though...the one on the bottom came to me out of pure luck. p.s it helps if you know the song 'Not enough' by Third Eye Blind. thats the song that is still stuck in my head and it sorta flows with the poem.
