"Breathe, Olivia," Elliot tells her as they sit in a car in a city far from New York.

She smiles, and tries to hold back the tears in her eyes. She gazes at the office building in front of her and wonders what it has been like for her.

"It's like giving birth," her partner tells her. "Just without the physical pain."

He takes her hand in his and the tears fall. "It's strange Elliot. Usually when we do this we're the bearers of death and I never cry."

He smiles as he tenderly brushes the tears from her cheeks, "Tears of joy 'Liv. This time we bring life. This time we bring her home."

She leans her head on his hand for a moment and then she gathers herself, "Lets do it."

They get out of the rental car and step into the sun. He holds her gaze for a moment more and then they go in.
