There were loads of things that Katie Bell didn't understand. She knew when she admitted this; she was insulting her self in a way. But she openly admitted that she was rather scatterbrained.

Because of this, she had an overly curious personality. Things just intrigued her. Mostly people. Katie liked to see the way they acted and reacted, it amused her. Well one person in general seemed to be able to hold her attention above all others. Fred Weasley.

Katie considered herself a people person, for the aforementioned reasons. Once she properly met someone she kept mental tabs on them. However for one reason or another she couldn't quite put her thumb on Fred.

Well she could, she just couldn't seem to keep it there. He was utterly spontaneous and it completely baffled her. One minute he was asleep on the common room couch and the next he was making it rain confetti.

Often she regarded him as bipolar to Leanne and others. Don't get her wrong, she didn't dislike Fred at all. On the contrary she rather liked him, possibly enough to maybe fancy him. He just confused her is all.

She didn't understand why he affected her the way he did. The sound of his voice made her heart flutter and stomach drop. When she heard his name her heart would beat just a litter faster. If he said her name she would feel herself grow pink and weak in the knees.

She simply didn't understand it. Katie didn't like it. Those were the times she disliked him.

So naturally, when he hugged her and kissed the top of her head she cursed him in her mind. When he told her that he loved her she was loathing him. She hated herself for replying that she loved him to. Although there is a fine line between love and hate.

The time she hated him the most was when he cupped her face in her hands and brought her up into a swift kiss.

I LOVE FredKatie stories. They're ranked in my favorites, second only to LilyJames. This was kind of difficult for me to write, I wonder why. I particularly liked how I transitioned the story, but that's just me! Well I hope you enjoyed reading it.

I know FredKatie's are scarce so if you liked it let me know. I just might write another!
