Lamented Love
Sonnets are undoubtedly love poems, and that's exactly what our love birds need.
Written before 'Help Me', but relates to series 6, and the whole Cuddy/Lucas thing. The sonnet is from Cuddy's perspective.
After reading Katheryn Mae Wilson MD's poem 'No Need', I thought that I would post mine.
He that is before me, there's none so rare
None of them have his smile, his gentle touch
There is no place in my heart going spare
Because my love for him is far too much
His eyes the deepest blue, honest and wise
Gentlemanly and proud is his stature,
When around him, I speak in blind disguise
Finding it hard to lie to his eyes azure
In my dreams I kiss your lips, stroke your face
Reality says move on with my life
Yet in the arms of another, embrace,
Never knowing that you cause me such strife,
Yet I can't move on, and cannot move back,
So how I feel is in limbo, in black.
Good? Bad? Ugly? Please review.
