Once Upon a Time, in the far off land of Pennsylvania, there was a kingdom called Dunder-Mifflin. King David of Wallace was a kind ruler, but was completely oblivious to the strange happenings in the Scranton Manor towards the far off regions of his kingdom…
Pam POV
"Pamela, what on earth are you doing? You've ruined the sheets again!" Angela Screeches at me. I unthinkingly poured red dye all over the king's linen bedspread. That would definitely mean a hefty load of work for me and a lower pay. Exactly what I need with the new job at the manor.
"I'm sorry Angela. I guess I just wasn't thinking."
"Maybe if you paid more attention to your work and stopped daydreaming during church, you would stop making such awful mistakes." I could have sworn I heard her whisper, "and green is a whorish color on you."
I look down at my modest moss colored frock and sigh. Someday Angela will come around.
So far I haven't made any friends at the manor besides the cellar worker, Roy, who has taken to staring at me and pinching my bottom.
He would be a good match for me I presume, considering that there is a very slim chance that I will ever get married according to my mother and Angela due to my "Un-Christian" and "Controversial" ways of thinking. Apparently telling jokes is undignified among us common people.
I walk over to the well to fetch the water to clean the pig's trough. While pulling up my bucket, Dwight Shrewt and Andrew Bernard, the apprentice wizards come to greet me. Dwight, being a beet farmer since birth offers me a beet, complete with dirt and worms, and tries to convince me of the nutritional value. Andy simply bows his head and smiles widely.
Suddenly I hear a bugle in the distance and turn to see what member of the royal family has graced us with his presence this afternoon before bowing low.
Oscar the Hispanic slave calls out, "Presenting Lady Janice of the Levinsons (Formerly Married to Lord Harrison of Gould) and Sir James Halpert.'
I looked up at the visitors. Lady Jan seems pinched, business-like and angry. She holds her head high even though we all know about her depressing separation with Lord Harrison.
James is riding on a Chestnut Stallion with a shining coat. The sun glints off of his polished armor. He pull off his helmet to reveal shaggy brown hair, large eyes, and a dazzling smile. Happiness radiates from him and I cant help but stare at his incredible beauty.
