"The Red Thread of fate..."
"What's that Lavi?" Allen curiously asked his partner.
"Well, it's like a legend. People say a red thread is tied around the fingers of those who are destined to meet. Despite age, sex, or time, the thread is your fate..." Lavi explained in a low voice.
"Oh really. Can you see it?" Allen asked again. Obviously he was interested in it.
"Nope beansprout. It's invisable. You'll be able to see it when the time is right." Lavi responded.
"Oh... Cool." Allen was stitching up a little red hat for Timcanpy. Since he was out of red yarn, he had no choice but to use red thread.
"Hey, Tim. Try your new hat on!~" Allen called to his little golem.
Timcanpy flew away, ignoring his offer. But before he did that, he got his spool of red thread and rolled it across the floor.
"Hey! What was that for?" Allen yelled as he tried to gather up the string.
"Oh, here lemme help." Lavi said as he helped to wind up the string.
When the two gathered enough string, they eventually bumped into each, with Lavi on top of Allen.
"...Hey, Allen. What's that on your finger?" Lavi asked with a different tone of voice.
To Allen's surprise, the red thread was tangled on his pinky.
"Hey look, your new destined lover is nearby. Where is she?" Lavi laughed.
"Well, let's see." Allen tugged on the thread tied to his pinky and pulled it upward. And to his surprise, Lavi's hand went up with him. His pinky was alson tangled within the red thread.
"..." Lavi just stared at his pinky and a smirk fell apon his face."
He leaned close to Allen, who was still pinned to the floor and kissed him straight on the lips.
"Looks like it destiny, shortstack..." Lavi smiled back.
"Yea, looks like it... It's meant to be." Allen smiled back.
'Two people, tied by destiny by the Red Thread of Fate. Only visable when the time is right...' "Looks like the time is right... hehe."
