"Renegade"

The master of blades wiped his blade off his opponent's body and walked away, signature blade cape fluttering behind him, blades clicking ominously at the end of it. The rest of the dead man's group arrived a few seconds later and ran a search.

"Heh. 4 men, 4 bodies." muttered Talon. Talon's blade glinted in the moonlight and a man fell. Before he hit the ground, Talon scooped up the body. Talon threw the body in the gutter. 3 bodies remaining. Smiling, he swung his blade behind him and a man reeled, clutching at his bleeding throat.

"Is weakness all you have to offer?" asked Talon. Two other men came up in front of Talon, and advanced on him, swords pointing at him. Talon grinned evilly and threw out a ring of blades, ancient spells on his clothing making him invisible and slow down time, while in reality he was moving faster, faster than the human eye could process. Talon suddenly appeared behind his foes and the blades he left returned to him, killing the men instantly. Talon caught the blades with practiced ease and slid them into his hidden sheaths, ready to be flung on demand.

Talon's earliest memories had no mercy, no warmth. Knowing only the clink of stolen gold and the security of a wall at his back, Talon scraped out a living in the underbelly of Noxus. The signature vambrace he has with an armblade sticking out of it was a prize from a wealthy blade merchant. Talon killed him quickly, not letting the man take his final breath. Talon took what he needed, then turned because a glint caught his gaze. Talon located the object and grabbed it with him, not looking at the object. It was a fascinating armblade and vambrace combo. The design allowed the blade to sink into armor easily and withdrawal painful as it pulled out flesh as it went out. Talon's quick thievery and mastery of the blade quickly marked him as a threat, and Noxian Assassin Guilds sent assassins with 1 demand: Join them or die. Talon replied by leaving the body of every failed attempt in the moat of the Noxian High Command Castle. The assassination attempts grew increasingly difficult until Talon met a challenger blade to blade. Looking at his assassin in the eye, he saw no regret, or any chance of mercy. The man striked for Talon's head and Talon blocked it with his own blade, the grooves capturing the blade in Talon's. Talon jerked backward and snapped his opponent's blade. The man dropped his sword and Talon advanced on him, instantly appearing behind his opponent's back. The man suddenly dropped to his knees as Talon attempted to slit his neck, causing the blade to miss and unbalance Talon for a moment. The man rolled across the alley and drew a short dagger.

"You will die here tonight!" He yelled.

"Only after you!" Talon replied.

The man charged Talon and got in deep. Talon countered and slashed back, but the man was crowding Talon of his own space. After a few slashes, Talon found himself disarmed and on the ground as the man had his blade to his neck. The man revealed himself as General Du Couteau. He offered Talon two choices: To die here and now, or to serve under the man as a hired assassin. Talon chose life under the condition that his loyalty be to the General and to the General alone. Within a few years of Talon's recruitment, the General disappeared from the face of Noxus, and Talon couldn't find any info about the man's whereabouts. It seemed as the man never existed. Talon considered taking freedom while it was still there, but Talon had gained immense respect for the General over the years and became obsessed with locating the General, and looked everywhere. Even if everyone says he didn't exist, Talon knew he did. Talon's search led him far and wide, but to no avail. Even to this day, Talon would kill to find his General, even at the cost of his own life.
