A/N: I'm in a writing slump and it is not fun, especially not with me doing NaNo... but on tumblr I had this little scene about an accidental kiss between Cas and Dean because if the show weren't so heterosexual it so would've happened, and in an attempt to get my mojo back I wrote this. It sucks and it's OOC (at least to me) but maybe you'll enjoy a little bit of fluff. (You might be able to call this crack... maybe)

It had been awhile since Dean had seen Cas, and although there was no way he would ever admit it, he missed the angel. He was tempted to call Cas just to see him again, but that was way too obvious.

So he wallowed in silence, annoying Sam and Bobby until they couldn't take it and had to leave. It was when he was alone in Bobby's den that the incident happened.

There was a quiet flutter of wings that was drowned out by the TV and then an equally as quiet "Hello Dean", but he heard the latter. He leapt off the couch and turned to face Cas who was closer than he had anticipated. There had been a bit of tripping on Dean's part and Cas moving closer and somehow their limbs got tangled and their lips somehow met.

Dean pulled back the minute he had the ability to think and tried not to dwell on the tingling in his lips. He could feel a flush creep up his neck but he shook it off and looked at a dazed Cas.

"No chick flick moments," he said gruffly, moving as far away from Cas as he could. He decided to ignore the flicker of something in Cas' eyes and turned back to the TV. "Any special reason you're here?"

"I-um," Cas said, for once at a loss for words. "I have to go." And then he was gone with a flutter of wings, leaving Dean alone once again.

.:::. .:::. .:::.

For the following weeks there was a tension between them that wasn't there before. Added to the awkward glances and Dean's obvious avoidance to touching -or being anywhere near- Cas. At first Sam decided to ignore it, figuring it was just another lover's spat or something, but Cas' longing stares and Dean's blatant attempt at heterosexuality just turned annoying and he'd had enough.

"That's it!" he snapped, slamming his hands on the table and making them jump. "You two are acting like a pair of teenagers with a crush! Work out whatever is up with you two before I get back."

He stormed out of the room leaving Dean alone with Cas. There was some awkward silence, broken by Dean's attempts at speaking and giving up. Then, with a mental screw it, he got up and moved to Cas purposefully. The angel looked up at him expectantly and he wet his lips before lowering his head to press their mouths together.

It wasn't a passionate kiss, or messy, it was just a simple press of lips to lips, but the sparks were flying and when Dean pulled back he was surprised he wasn't burning from the heat.

They stared in silence, blue eyes boring into green, before Cas grinned wryly, repeating the words Dean seemed to live by.

"No chick flick moments."
