Dream in Black and White: Chapter 1 – Prologue
Summoners have been in Spira since the time of Zanarkand. Going on a pilgrimage and sacrificing one's life so the rest of Spira can live in peace. That's what they do. But this peace is not eternal. Sin is eventually reborn. Everyone believes we can still atone for our sins and finally live in peace. It's a lie. A lie that one group of people, the Al Bhed, don't believe in. They reject the teaching of Yevon because they know that Sin is eternal. For this, they are banned and seen as evil. This is the story of one girl. An Al Bhed who became a summoner and proved that the view everyone had of the Al Bhed was wrong. Her story was forgotten by Yevon. Yevon convinced everyone that she did not defeat Sin, and that someone else did. She received no statue in the temples, no celebrations, no recognition. That's why I'm here. To tell her story so that she may be remembered, and that the truth will remain in the minds and hearts of the people of Spira.
