An Intro

Matt Always saw this one guy around his school and he didn't know why they kept running into each other. He saw the soft blonde locks in his AP English and Calculus class. Somehow, even though the rest of the class was struggling to keep up, he was barley blinking an eye at the course work that was handed to him. They never spoke, but Matt wanted to. He was pretty good at reading people, it wasn't a 'gift' or anything like that. Everyone in high school was easy to read if you tried hard enough, yet the guy in his class wasn't easy to read at all. As much as he hated to admit it, the fact that he couldn't read him was bugging him. All Matt knew about him was that he was an asshole and hated people, He expected that though. Not a lot of happy people are hard to read.

Math and English, one happened on an A day, the other happened on a B day. He would sit behind the blond in English and next to him in Math. The red head knew his name, but he also knew it was to be fake. It was all too rare for the blond to possess the name at birth that he possessed now.

Mello

The word was weird, but Matt really couldn't judge names. All he knew that was he wanted to figure out more about this blonde boy.

Black and red, two beautiful vehicles shining as bright as the sun in the school parking lot, no matter the time of year, they were always cleaned to perfection. It wasn't rare for the blond to be leaning against the black beauty. He would have his arms crossed, with a glare plastered on his face as his teeth viscously chewed away at the chocolate. It was something that was always done before he would hop on his beauty and ride home.

Matt never saw this, he usually had to stay and do extra work for people after school. Though the day he did come out just in time to see him shove some tin foil in his pocket and speed away, he wasn't surprised. He always wondered who that black babe belonged to. That was one answer to his many questions.

The boy himself threw his bag into the passenger seat and started up his car, pulling a cigarette out of the pack; he lit the end and stuck it to his lips. Windows rolled down slightly, music on as loud as he was content with; Matt sped out of the parking lot.

He would watch the world fly by through an orange tint. Maybe it could even be called gold. For some reason it made life that much more enjoyable. The goggles barely left him. Not that he slept with them on or showered with them. They just always left the house when he did or were worn with every outfit. The goggles and the cigarettes. That's what he was known for. He was content with goggles, cigarettes his car and video games. That was that's all he needed he was positive. He didn't need anything else.

All he needed was gorgeous red car that glistened in the sunset; the orange goggles that would make said sunset turn the rarest shades of gold. A cigarette in his hand to satisfy a habit that he and picked up a while ago, and a game or two to take him to another world when everything turned to shit. He thought at least that was what he needed. Oh how the boy never knew how much he would need the blond in the future. How much he would crave the touch and love. What he also didn't know is how much pain and hell he would be put through just to get these few things from him. Yet somehow in the end he ended up with what he wanted in all the wrong ways.

He ended up with skin on skin and jagged breaths, yet he got shoved away the next day, all memory of it gone, it never even happened.

He got someone by his side, but it came with fighting and screaming at each other.

He got the truth, but it ended up with him giving the most private parts of himself away as well.

He got his loved one, the love of his life, but it didn't last for long.

It always goes wrong.

You always get what you want in all the wrong ways.

Yes, hello. I am going to try to write another fan fiction. Hopefully I can finish this one. I hope. I love these two and honestly wanted to write a story for them since I got back into Death Note around February. Anyhow, that is not the point. I just wanted to say hello, welcome to a story of heart break. Just warning this is not going to end well and will not have a happy ending, so I'll just throw that out there now.

One other thing, this story will be written in second person. I just started to write the intro without thinking and it didn't feel right to change it to second person when I actually started to write the story. So don't think I'll go changing POV's because it's just going to stay in second person after this.

Anyways, enjoy your heart break.
