To those it might concern:

This story is not like a regular story. This story is completely revolving around everything, rather than one thing. This story will have different points of view, letters, different antagonists , and different plots all in one. It will take a long time to write, but I do hope you enjoy.

From,

The Potal.

Somewhere in Nabooti Poptropica, Safari, Dr. Westion's POV:

"I do say sir, that sure is a lot of beer you have drunken," the waiter next to me said as he dried a mug with a cloth. He sounded concerned. I set down my 11th mug and sighed.

"I know."

I so happened to be in a little cafe, the Internet Cafe to be precise, getting high. My life has been so supposing awful lately, and I just had to get out. In fact, I was so desperate to get out, that I failed to even notice the fact that the people all around me at this point of hour looked like thugs, thieves, and just plain gangsters. Or the fact that most of them were getting pretty rowdy.

As a wine bottle was thrown across the room,it barely missed my ear, she walked in. A young lass, around the age of either 14 or 15, with her face well hidden within her fishing hat walked in. I could merely stare.

The young lass, as she ignored me and walked towards the bar, wore a light brown tunic with a dark brown vest. With her back towards me, it was kinda hard to see anything else about her, except of that and the fact that she was extremely short.

She sat down on one of the stools and slouched. The man who worked the bar, a light brown skinned African, smiled at her and asked," What would it be Chilly Whale?"

"The usual," the young lass said before the man smiled at her once more and slid a drink towards her. As I stared, mouth open, suddenly she slid around in her stool to face me, drink in hand. With the drink in hand, you could tell that it was no more than a frizzy drink.

Now with her looking directly at me, I could tell what else she was wearing. Her hair, which was light blonde with hits of gold, was pulled back into two ponytails by two green rubber bands. Around her neck she wore what looked like a gold medallion that if you flipped it, I'd soon swore that you could see the words Early Poptropica, and another necklace except that this one went way down longer. It looked like an old African yellow-brown artifact.

I quickly broke out of my trace and looked away, no longer seeming to care. I soon looked up however; to find that the young lass had walked her way here and was now sitting on the other side by me.

The young girl stood up and reached out a hand. I slowly, very slowly, (for I was dumbstruck) reached out my hand. I was shocked at how hard and sturdy she shook.

She smiled a faint smile. "Name's Chilly Whale."

"Dr. Westion."

"Nice to meet you."

"Nice to , errr, meet you too."

Chilly Whale sat back down.

I looked around, finally taking in the thugs, thieves, and just plain gangsters. When I looked back at her, I said," What are you doing here, with all these men? You don't belong here."

Chilly Whale looked around, not looking at all scared at the men. Finally she looked back at me. "Doesn't looked like a place for you either."

Okay... I couldn't say anything to that. She was right to a point. Me, a young man, a professor like this, didn't belong in a place like this. But where else was I supposed to go? My family used me. They didn't need me. I didn't know what to do.

The young girl reached into one of her two pockets in her dark brown vest. She pulled out a little card, it looked slightly like a businesses card. She turned to see if anyone was looking, then slid me the card. I stopped it from falling off the table and looked at it.

Chilly Whale

Los Apontoios

993-639-8021

I looked up. "What's a Los Apontoios?" Chilly Whale looked about, making sure none of the men were listening. Then she looked back at me.

"It's Spanish. It means savior. I'm Nabooti Island's savior. I'm meant to deal with the island's problems. I'm supposed to go around helping people left and right."

I looked down at the card and up at her again. I cocked an eyebrow at her.

"And...?"

"And?"

"And how is this important to me, or this includes me how?"

Chilly Whale sighed.

"Look, I've been wanting a partner for a while now, and to tell you the truth I've been watching you for awhile."

There was a pause.

"Wanting me?" I thought. "But why, why if she's been watching me... She's seen my past."

"Right?"

Chilly Whale turned and pulled out a piece of paper from one of her pants pocket. She unfolded it and shoved it into my face. It was a map of this entire island, Nabooti Africa.

Chilly Whale pointed to faintly marked with pencil dots on the map. There had to be about four of them. "I'm looking for the rare Nabooti Africa jewels. They're highly priced in the black market, but need back at the museum."

I looked over the map.

The Mountain of Giant Death

Kaya Forests

Giza

Kenya

Chilly Whale opened her mouth again to speak, but she never got to finish. For right then a group of thugs walked up to us.

"Well, well well. Look what we've got here. If isn't her herself," one, I'm guessing the leader, said. His eyes looked down at Chilly Whale hauntingly. He looked huge to her. Compared to her, he was a huge man, while she was no more than a twig ready to be broken. Chilly Whale narrowed her eyes and stared right back.

I looked back and forth. "What's going on here?" I said slowly.

"Give me the damn map girl!" the thug commanded. Chilly Whale hopped up. "You're gonna have to pry it from my cold dead body."

The thug smiled slyly. "That, my dear girl, can be arranged."

Suddenly the man whipped out a short little knife. He pointed right at her. Chilly Whale folded her arms and smirked. "Really? That's all you got Ganggen?"

He smiled even more slyly, which I didn't know was possible, when his gang pulled out guns.

My eyes widened, shocked. Not only were we now fighting a crazed gang leader with a knife, but forty or so men with guns now as well. Hopefully Chilly Whale would realize this. Hopefully she'd be smart enough not to provoke a fight out of them. But I was sure it was gonna be fine. She was smart.

Right?

Chilly Whale slowly raised her hands, the map now in her left hand. Her eyes quickly scanned back and forth the cafe. "You said you wanted the map Ganggen?" she asked.

She spoke slow and loud.

Ganggen smiled and reached out for the map. "Yes. Now hand it over dearie," he said.

For a second, it looked like Chilly Whale was gonna give Ganggen the map. Then she smiled slyly. "Then come and get it," she said. In a flash, she was upon our table. She raised her left fist, map still in it.

"Hey everybody! Pub fight!"

There was a moment of silence, as the thieves, thugs, and just plain gangsters took in what she had just said. Then...

"Pub fight!" a huge and hairy man yelled from within the crowd.

The cafe was soon filled with fighting gangsters, loud noises, and miscellaneous things flying through the air. "Nooooooo!" Ganggen yelled as he and his gang was soon lost in the mist.

As I sat, stunned , Chilly Whale reached out her hand. "Come on!" she yelled. I grabbed her hand.

I don't know how we did it, but somehow we manged to make it out of there unharmed and fast. Chilly Whale didn't stop dragging me until we were in the small, old, but still in use black market like place behind the cafe. People rushed behind us, too busy selling or buying illegal stuff to notice us. Or at least I think.

"Well?" Chilly Whale panted.

I looked dumbfounded. "Well what?"

"How would you like to become my partner?"

I hardly gave myself a minute to think this over.

"What are you, crazy?! Did you not just see the gang of thugs with the guns?!" I said as I motioned back to the Internet Cafe wildly.

Chilly Whale's eyes seemed to sink. Apparently she had expected it to be the other way around.

"Well hell yeah I saw them! But that's just Ganggen and his gang! Trust me, when you are my partner, you'll see a lot worse!"

"Uh no I won't cause I'm not joining!" I said, stabbing my finger into her chest. Chilly Whale huffed and crossed her arms.

"I thought you would like the idea. The idea of getting off fresh. But I guess I was wrong, Mr. Once upon a time a Once-ler."

And with my mouth unhinged and finger still in the air, she turned and left.

My finger slowly somewhat found it's way to my side. " How did she know?" I thought.

Yes, I was a Once-ler. My name may be Dr. Westion to all, but truly my name was Westion Once-ler. The Once-ler that created the Thneeds in fact.

"But what does she know? She's just a little girl," a voice inside my head said.

"Yeah," I thought,"But still..."

In the next few days I so happened to see Chilly Whale a lot. During crowds, during shopping trips, or when just walking around town. I was beginning to regret the things I said earlier. Maybe I could'a have redeemed myself. Maybe given myself a new life. But that all seemed all over now. Or I thought.

One week later, it so happened that I found Chilly Whale in town again. This time she was by the airport with a dark skinned African. With me in the food market that was literally right next to the airport, I could hear their every word.

The dark skinned African smiled at Chilly Whale as he handed her a hat. "Did you find yourself a new partner?"

Chilly Whale frowned sadly. "No Laffnenn, I did not."

Laffnenn frowned, disappointed that his little friend did not get her wish. "Well don't worry Chilly. I'm sure you'll find one eventually."

After pulling Chilly Whale's hat over her head in a playful manner, he looked up. "Hey, who's that?"

Chilly Whale turned to see me walking up towards them. I pulled one of my hands out of my pockets and waved hello. "Hello," I said shyly.

Chilly Whale looked confused. "What are you doing here?"

"I've changed my mind. And I was wondering, if I could come, if of course didn't bother you," I said even more shyly. I expected a laugh and a "really, you want to go? You?" but there was none of that. Instead Chilly Whale just smiled. She reached out her hand. I shook it. "Nice to have you on the team, Westion."

"It's nice to be here."

Laffnenn smiled happily. "I'll go get you a hat," he said, walking off.

"I'm so happy you could join!" Chilly Whale beamed.

"Me too ,Chilly Whale."

"Oh, just call me Chilly."

"Just one question, Chilly. Why ever did you parents name you that?! I mean what kind of name is Chilly Whale?" I regretted that as soon as the words left my lips.

At first Chilly Whale looked like she was gonna be mad. Then she just shrugged.

"I don't know."
